The day is finally here!  32 years after Return of the Jedi opened in theaters and a decade after Episode 3 premiered, we’ll finally be witnessing the continuation of the Star Wars saga on the big screen. And with last night’s early screenings some of you have already experienced it!  If you did, no spoilers please—we’re seeing it tonight in massive IMAX at Hollywood’s Chinese Theater where the classic trilogy films originally premiered. Can’t wait to catch up with Han, Chewie, Leia and Luke. And excited to see what’s in store for Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren and all the new characters. It really is the most amazing time to be a fan!

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens now open, we’re thrilled to share a debut of our own. We’ve always had a place in our heart for R2-D2, and now we’re Introducing the all new and totally cool light-up, talking R2-D2 sneaker! This adorable addition to the Star Wars Skechers collection lights up bright at every step and features a sound button that will play three different sequences of Artoo’s signature beeps. And for those times when quiet is essential, there’s an on/off button to silence the Astromech droid. Check out this video to see him in action!

The Star Wars: Damager III—Astromech is available now in kids’ sizes. So you can help satisfy your little one’s excitement for Star Wars this holiday season as the force awakens in theaters everywhere.
