BLOG TAKEOVER: RODOLFO RAMIREZ STYLES THE CASCADES

Skechers1

For fall I’m wearing Skechers Cascades boots, a perennial classic favorite. Their padded tongue, soft fabric lining, and cushioned insole made them the perfect choice for my line of work. As Creative Director of a fashion brand named Pocket Square Clothing I find myself taking on a plethora of different roles. Versatility in function is key for me; this made the Cascades boots ideal to take along with me on a busy day of fabric sourcing, meetings, and a dash of carpentry work in preparation for my store opening.

My personal style tends to take cues from my interest in patterns, prints, and textures which derive from my love of street wear and formal education in architecture. My look for the day features a mandarin color style chambray shirt, relaxed fit navy blue blazer, mustard color lapel flower for color, camouflage print cargo pants, and of course my Skechers Cascades boots. I find that neutral tones paired with a pop of color or print leave lasting impressions.

With an architecture background, I’ve always found form and function to be equally as important. My style takes from these cues (pocket, pockets, and more pockets). I find myself never having too many pockets; they serve me well when cutting fabric swatches, carrying sheers, color samples, sunglasses, and other essentials like my phone, keys and wallet. This same idea also rings true for the Skechers Cascades as they are extremely well crafted and ready to take on any work you throw at them.

The Skechers Cascade boots are offered in two colors and come with different shoe lace options allowing you to be as subdued or unique with your hiking style boot laces.
