BLOG TAKEOVER: FRANCIS KENNETH STYLES THE MALLING OXFORD

I’ve teamed up with Skechers to show you how I style their Mark Nason collection Malling oxfords. Something about this brown leather specifically, along with the stitching and overlaying accents, really stood out to me. Oh, and how could I forget arguably one of the most comfortable insoles ever. What I particularly love about this shoe is its versatility, which I think is pretty apparent in the following looks I put together.

For starters, let me emphasize my bias to smart casual attire. Dressed up enough to hang with the suits, yet dressed down enough to hang in the streets (not to mention, it’s pretty much 70 degrees year round in Los Angeles), this first look embodies exactly that. Paired with a fedora, cardigan, knit tie, and chinos, the Malling are just the kind of oxfords you need to keep you comfortable and stylish throughout your day at work.

It’s Friday, and after a long day at your nine to five, it’s time to loosen up a little. Ditch the tie, unbutton your shirt some, throw on a blazer and slacks, and you’ve got yourself an entirely different outfit to go along with these oxfords! The best part is no one will ever know that you’ve been wearing the same shoes all day and night, and with the soft cushioned Memory Foam insoles, you won’t either.

Saturday mornings (or afternoons for some of us), especially after a long night out, can be the hardest time to get out of bed. At this point, the last thing we’re thinking about is resembling something mildly presentable for the day’s activities. Don’t fret. You can still sport the Malling oxfords with a white tee, jeans, and your favorite jacket, and still look like a million bucks (feeling like a million bucks, however, is a whole other story). Throw on a scarf to keep things interesting, and don’t forget to smile. After all, you still have all of Sunday to recover. Come Monday, it’s business as usual.
