FINAL Cyber Monday
Millions of Americans braved the crowds to hunt for the hottest deals of the year on Black Friday. If you sat out the shopper insanity this year (or even if you didn’t), Cyber Monday offers the chance to pick up gifts for those on your list—or treat yourself—all from the comfort of your home or office. Of course we’re a little biased and think that is a perfect destination for your holiday shopping!  So we polled the office for the styles everyone plans to pick up today.

I’d go with the Laramie boot because I wore them then and I wear them now!

My sister would love to get the Breathe Easy – Fortune as a gift! She’s a photographer so she’s a huge fan of any Skechers Relaxed Fit styles that are easy to slip on and shoot in all day long.

I’m getting my friend Gina a pair of the new women’s Burst – Adrenaline… She wants to be just like Demi who is wearing them in her new campaign! #SkechersDemiStyle

I’m picking up a new pair of the Skechers GOrun Strada. It’s the most comfortable, durable and well-constructed skechers shoes that I have worn.

What girl doesn’t love a black bootie? I can’t wait to grab the cute Taxi-Cab boot for all of the gals on my shopping list this year!

I just love my Bramble so much. Stylish and comfy at the same time. Every guy should have a pair!

Can’t wait to surprise my kid with pink Swift Kicks – Lil Glammer this holiday. Comfy, easy to put on and I love the fun color and cute stitching!

The super comfortable Relaxed Fit Superior – Leroy is my every day sneaker. I already own a pair in brown, so today’s the perfect chance to pick up another in black!

I would gift the Mark Nason Burwood boot to my boyfriend who is a musician constantly on the road and pretty much needs the comfort it offers traveling from city to city! Plus the rustic brown color fits his everyday style.

Memory Foam sneakers are great for my gym workouts, and I’ll pick up the Flex Appeal – Pretty City because it’s stylish enough to wear with casual outfits and the black/white heathered jersey is such a versatile color.

Thanksgiving Collage

Thanksgiving is just a few days away! Whether you love to spend the day whipping up a feast in your kitchen or like to keep it simple by gobbling at a friend’s place or a restaurant, it’s America’s favorite day to feast. We polled our office mates for their top Thanksgiving dishes – and got everything from delicious classics to innovative updates (and a surprising passion for all things sweet potato!). Read on for our favorite bites and some links to great dishes for your holiday.

Melissa – Dark meat gently nestled against a small mound of mashed potatoes with gravy dripping down the side; on the other side nuzzling up to garlic stuffing, with cranberry sauce along for the ride. I’ve actually gotten all of this onto a fork for one bite!

Akane – Sausage stuffing, with all the crunchy and moist croutons, with loads of gravy poured on top… here’s a great recipe.

Gina – Roasted Brussels Sprouts. I use a few recipes, but here’s a good one.

JamesSkillet Corn with Bacon. Not only is this recipe super easy to make…you can even substitute frozen corn for fresh. But we’re talking about corn cooked in bacon fat here! HELLO. YUM.

JennRoasted butternut squash and sage lasagna. Delicious!

Lauren – Pumpkin pie served chilled with whipped cream on top. I’m not a cook, so I buy the Trader Joe’s version and it’s delicious!

Brennan – KFC and a bottle of Prosecco sounds good.

And three-way sweet potato tie…

JD – I always loved sweet potato casserole because of the toasted marshmallows – welcome to the South, where nothing is good for you and we end the holidays by enrolling in Weight Watchers.

Alisa – Sweet potato casserole – lots of brown sugar and candied pecans make this the perfect dish for Thanksgiving Day AND the morning after! Here’s a recipe similar to my grandma’s.

Marcella – A yam sweet potato dish that my sister makes! She makes it just right to where it isn’t too sweet. I can’t wait to have it this Thanksgiving!!!

British model and actress Kelly Brook spent a day in LA’s Echo Park filming her new commercial for Skechers Relaxed Fit and Modern Comfort footwear.  Kelly’s costars for the fun shoot on this gorgeous sunny day were three professional dog actors.  The trio of canines were total pros—they pulled Kelly through the park to the point where it was hard to tell who was walking whom!  Luckily she felt great running through the park during the day-long shoot thanks to her Relaxed Fit shoes with comfortable Skechers Memory Foam insoles.

Check out the behind-the-scenes sneak peek video below to see Kelly explain:

I always have Skechers sneakers with me wherever I go and I pretty much live in them when I’m at home. I work out in them or I wear little cut off jean shorts with them. They’re bright and colourful and they look good with anything really. If you meet a friend for coffee and decide after that you want to go for a nice walk in the park or a hike, then you’re ready to go in Skechers sneakers.

Watch for Kelly Brook’s new commercial premiering in the months ahead.  Check back for more details on the #KellyLovesSkechers campaign!

Fall is in full swing, and there’s nothing better than grabbing a cup of cocoa, an old sweater, jeans and your favorite boots to feel cozy yet fashionably trendy during the cold months.

To get an inside look at the latest boot trends, we asked our women’s merchandiser Christina to highlight some of the season’s hottest boot styles.

Blue Boot_48696

Booties continue to lead the charge with different materials and colors and heels that complement any style – and this one comes in your choice of Tan or the hot color of the season, Navy.  With a zip closure and finished edging at the top, the Native looks great paired with dresses or jeans.  The heel is just high enough that you feel dressed for any occasion, yet your feet won’t cry at the end of the night.

A higher heel than the Natives at two inches, the Taxi is the boot of the season.  Comfort has never looked so stylish.  A suede bootie with a criss-cross leather band on the top and buckle detailing make this a MUST HAVE for the fashionista in us all.  Available in Black and Taupe.

For the woman on the go who won’t have her fine taste in fashion compromised, this slip-on boot is just what she needs.  Add a hidden wedge and you’ll be hard pressed to take them off when it’s time to retire for the evening.  This bootie is versatile in that you can fold down the top to reveal the grey contrast lining.  Available in Black.

THE PATSY CHELSEA BOOT (#48456 at select Skechers stores)

For years, the Chelsea-inspired boot has graced runways of the finest design houses in Paris and Milan.  Our interpretation of this boot is on point with the hottest trend in booties.  With elastic side detail, this low heel slip-on bootie is so comfortable and so versatile you’ll want to buy two.  And lucky you, it comes in Black and Olive.

Tall Boot_48497

THE HIGH RISE RIDING BOOT (#48497 – Black at select Skechers stores, Brown at

It wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t design a tall boot – and with our line-up of riding boots, you’ll want them all.  Our asymmetrical zip boot is great for anyone.  There are people who love a tall boot but wouldn’t dare wear one because they get tight on the calf.  Not the case here!!!  Our tall boot has an elastic inset to give a little stretch for those who need it.  Add the asymmetrical zipper closure and buckle detail and this look is classic!  This boot is available in Black and Brown.

Whether you like a traditional look or you’re following the latest trend in fall fashion, Skechers has a great line-up of boots for everyone. What’s your favorite Skechers boot style? Tell us in the comments!

HalloweenHalloween 2015 is upon us! As we get older, we spend so much time thinking about costumes and where we’ll go on the big night that it’s easy to forget about the most important part of this great holiday…CANDY! We polled the office for some favorites. Let us know your sweet preferences in the comments!

I was a big fan of the SweeTARTS three-packs when I was a kid – I’d look forward to my lunches after Halloween, when my mother would put them in for dessert!

Kraft caramel squares because my mom always had a jar of them in our house around Halloween, so they remind me of childhood. Plus they’re delicious and I like unwrapping them, like a mini present :)

Asking to choose a favorite candy is like being asked to choose your favorite family member. If I had to choose my favorite Halloween candy, it would be Candy Corn. I don’t know why it gets such a bad rap!

REESE’S! As a kid, I never ended up with too many of these in my trick-or-treat bag but they were my favorite!

Almond Joy Dark Chocolate is my favorite. Love the crunch. The little bite size ones… no guilt there!

Twix minis! They are always my favorite but I like them even more during Halloween because those bite size version make me feel less guilt about how many I eat.

Twix. Full size. No explanation necessary.

Dip n Stick – because who doesn’t love to lick a candy stick and dip it into more powdered candy goodness?

I seriously adored pop rocks growing up. And let me tell you that urban legend about your stomach exploding if mixed with Coca-Cola—not true! (I tried and survived!)

I am new to Halloween because we didn’t celebrate this day in Taiwan. My favorite is the Extreme Sour candy. These candy look normal, but are really sour in the core. When I was a kid, I enjoyed watching my friends taking the candy and having really funny faces when they tasted the sour part.

For the past seven years, thousands of friends and families have gathered at the Manhattan Beach Pier to walk for kids with special needs and education. Every year of the SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk has broken new records in attendance and donations – and this year was no different! More than 12,000 people joined us at the beach on Sunday morning, blowing away this year’s $1.2 million goal to raise $1.4 million for children.

Many celebrities have taken part in this event over the years, and have returned year after year to lend their support. Brooke Burke-Charvet, Denise Austin and Tommy Lasorda were all back this year to cheer on the crowd – along with legendary boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, who made his SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk debut and was thrilled to take part.

“When you say kids to me, I’m there,” said Sugar Ray. “This is my first, but believe me – this will not be my last.”

The SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk’s grown into one of Southern California’s biggest events for kids – raising more than $5.5 million over the years to support The Friendship Circle, an organization for children with special needs, and education foundations in support of schools. Peer mentorships, social programs, new libraries, teachers’ salaries, classes that would otherwise have been shuttered – all of these and so much more benefit daily from the event’s contributions.

A huge thanks to all of the walkers and volunteers; our co-sponsor Nickelodeon; Steel Partners and its generous #P2PSteelSports Selfie Challenge, which pledged a $5 donation for every SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk selfie posted; and all of the wonderful sponsors who give tirelessly year after year to help educate and inspire the next generation.

Take part and learn more at or on Facebook.
